Our Advisors
Children's tools should be built on more than good intentions.
Future Minds Club works with qualified professionals in child development and mental health. They review what we create and help shape how we create it. They tell us when something is right for a seven year old and when it is not. They help us word things so a child feels supported rather than instructed.
Their guidance is part of why we can hand a journal to a family and feel confident about what is inside it.

Child Development Advisor

Negin Motamed Yeganeh, PhD, RCC, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and the founder of Blooming Counselling Corp in West Vancouver. She holds a PhD in Child Psychology and completed postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia. Her work focuses on supporting children, adolescents, and families in areas including emotional regulation, anxiety, self-confidence, resilience, social skills, and executive functioning. Drawing on both clinical experience and research, Negin is passionate about translating developmental and psychological knowledge into practical, engaging tools that children and parents can use in everyday life. As Child Development Advisor to Future Minds Club, she contributes guidance to help ensure its resources are thoughtful, age-appropriate, emotionally supportive, and meaningful for families.
In Negin's words
The Future Minds Club Journal offers children a safe, creative, and engaging space to explore their emotions, recognize their strengths, and reflect on their everyday experiences. Through age-appropriate prompts and activities, it can support the development of emotional awareness, confidence, resilience, gratitude, problem-solving, and positive relationships. Most importantly, the journal encourages children to understand that every feeling is valid, mistakes are part of learning, and personal growth happens through small, consistent steps. By making self-reflection enjoyable and accessible, the Future Minds Club Journal can help children build meaningful life skills that support their well-being at home, at school, and in their relationships with others.
What Our Tools Are
The Explorer Journal and our parent resources are educational tools. They build daily habits of reflection and self awareness, and give families a shared language for talking about feelings and growth.
They are not therapy, counselling, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for professional support. If you have concerns about your child's development or wellbeing, we encourage you to speak with a qualified professional.
