Future Minds Club creates brain growth tools for children ages 5 to 12, journals, characters, workshops, and daily habits that help kids build curiosity, confidence, creativity, resilience, communication, and the belief that their ideas can become real things.
We believe every child deserves to know early that their brain is not a fixed thing — it grows every time they try.
Our Story
Future Minds Club began as an idea Vida carried long before it had a name, an academy for creative minds, and for children who ask different questions, follow their curiosity, and see the world in their own way.
At twenty, she began teaching French and noticed something that stayed with her: the moment students stopped seeing themselves as “bad at something” and discovered that they were capable of more than they believed.
Her journey later took her through an MBA, years in business strategy and marketing, and eventually immigration to Canada. What once felt like separate chapters became part of the path that would eventually bring Future Minds Club to life.
The Brain That Changed
Becoming a mother changed the way Vida experienced her own mind, her attention, emotions, memory, and the way she responded to the world.
That curiosity led her to neuroscience. She studied the brain through programs at MIT and other leading institutions, and what she learned gave language to something she had been noticing for years:
The brain is not a fixed thing. It rewires itself, all through life, in response to what we practice.
That understanding of neuroplasticity connected what she had seen as a teacher with what she was now experiencing as a mother.
Nova & Zeno
Nova and Zeno, the characters who guide children through the Explorer Journal, are inspired by Vida’s own children.
Nova is the asker. She loves thoughtful questions and helps children understand themselves.
Zeno is the explorer. He loves new ideas and reminds children to be brave enough to try, especially when trying might not work.
Together, they represent two halves of a growing mind: reflection and courage, knowing yourself and stretching yourself.

Negin Motamed Yeganeh, PhD, RCC
Child Development Advisor
Negin is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a PhD in Child Psychology and postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia. She works with children, adolescents, and families on emotional regulation, confidence, resilience, and social skills. She helps us ensure that what we put in a child's hands is thoughtful, age appropriate, and genuinely supportive.
Every Leaf Tells a Story
In the Explorer Journal, children grow a leaf each month, decorating it with their own ideas, colours, and memories until it tells a story that belongs only to them.
That is the philosophy behind Future Minds Club: we are not growing a brand. We are growing leaves, one child at a time.
